Walker Travel Company was founded by Karly, her husband Tommy, and her mother Barb—a close-knit family with a deep love for travel, culture, and creating unforgettable experiences.

Traveling the world together has given us more than just memories—it’s given us a bond that we want to share with others. For Karly, the journey began at 17, inspired by her adventurous mother Barb. Whenever possible, Karly brought Barb along on her adventures, building a tradition of shared discovery and connection. Then came Tommy—who Karly met while traveling in Washington D.C.—and together, their story continued to unfold through globetrotting experiences as a couple.

Over time, the idea was clear: Why not turn our passion into something more? Walker Travel Company was born out of a shared dream—to help others experience the magic of meaningful travel with people they care about.

Each of us brings something unique to the journey:

• Karly is the planner and organizer, keeping every trip on time and flowing smoothly—while leaving just enough room for spontaneous magic. Her vision is to blend structure with serendipity, creating immersive cultural adventures that are both smooth and unforgettable.

• Tommy is our storyteller behind the lens. A trained photographer and videographer, he captures stunning, lasting memories for our guests. With 17 years of experience as a paramedic, Tommy also brings a sense of calm and safety to every trip—so you can truly relax and enjoy the ride.

• Barb is the heart of the group. With 45 years in the restaurant and hospitality world, she knows how to find the most authentic experiences—and she brings warmth, laughter, and a comforting presence to every journey. A beloved figure in her own community, Barb quickly becomes a favorite travel companion to all our guests.
